Unknown location that is made of gray slabs and has a cold appearance.
ACCOUNT
Segment 1
PARTICIPATING. Had a dream where I was in a gray, cold-looking place[1]. It was visually blurry, but I saw 3 or 4 individuals. Human, I assume. I didn't see their faces clearly, but the skin was white on two of them. They placed three books on a gray[2] slab or other surface, then they told me some things. Two books were of same thickness and possibly more important than the third, thinner book.
Immediately after the books were shown to me the scene changed.
Segment 2
OBSERVING. I'm watching a scene of a plain white background of a room or open space. A white skinned man walks from left to right into view, wearing a long black top[3] white pants and black(?) Chinese flats. He's facing the dream screen, looking straight at me as if he can see me. I get the feeling he knows the meaning of the first part of the dream, and his staring at me fills me with apprehension. Though he is not fully menacing, he reminds me of a physical devil. His eyes are piercing and eyebrows noticeably arched which takes me aback. His smile is sort of menacing and challenging.
FINAL COMMENT
I wonder if he may have been my spiritual guide. Maybe he is a reflection of my inner soul. My ears perk at that thought and I grow warm slightly on my right side. Maybe he is an adept; a master teacher.

Two years ago I speculated further that perhaps it was an evil spirit like satan or a demon.

Just reading through this account and am still speculating just who the person was or represented. Having acquired certain knowledge since 1991 I am led to surmise that the man may have been a spiritual guide disapproving of my lack of spiritual development. I wonder if I had had that dream in year 2000, would I still have interpreted his expression as one of hostility or, instead, one of sternness and reproach.

CAVERN/CAVE: the subconscious mind. A spiritual place in the astral realm.
GRAY: gray matter in the mind. That which is in need of illumination. Gray area.
UNKNOWN PEOPLE: aspects of self. Teachers and/or Guides in the astral plane. ETs?
UNKNOWN MAN: aspect of self. One's dark or ignored side. Spiritual Guide or Teacher. Negative spirit in human form? A Hindi spiritual teacher?
ASIAN GARB: Asian knowledge and teachings. Hindism or Buddism?
